“Great. Tons of variety on the playgrounds. 1 small one, 1 very large one. Both with nice natural shade. Nice sand volleyball court. Great view.”
2. Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park
One of the more popular parks near Greenville, Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park features kids playgrounds, walking trails, Concessions, Disc Golf, tennis courts, soccer fields, and of course a great sand volleyball court. Many people like to come here because it is one of the best-maintained parks that are always cleaned with fresh-cut grass and updated equipment.
“Great place for kids. There are lots of soccer fields and volleyball nets and tennis nets. The playground is great too. Kids run around screaming and yelling. GREAT place for kids and adults. Recommend the whole family to come. There are trails to walk in a river.”
3. Legacy Park
Relatively new, Legacy Park was opened in 2008. This park is nestled right into a residential area for easy access to those living close by.
The landscaping is gorgeous with paved sidewalks and beautiful flowers carefully placed along the path. You’ll find a lovely pond and a sweet waterfall for optimal relaxation.

“I absolutely enjoy this location so much. While I was there I met two other groups of parents and for my daughter, that means a bunch more friends. The park was so clean and inviting we stayed for about two hours, at a park! They have a basketball court a track of place Brown set barbecue pit and picnic tables what more could you ask for. I also enjoy reading the park’s historic plaque who would have known how it all started. Great environment I would definitely recommend”
4. Cleveland Park
With over 120 acres of land to explore, a beautiful garden, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and a zoo, this park has plenty to offer and is claimed to be Greenville’s “City Park”. Many who come to the park are excited to use one of their sand volleyball courts.

5. East Riverside Park
Looking from the street, this park may appear to just be for baseball players. But head down the trail and walk past the baseball fields and you’ll find lots of other amenities!
East Riverside park includes a kid’s playground, picnic shelters, a community garden, football fields, and a sand volleyball court! As this local describes, it’s a great area when you want to get a little distance from your regular town life.
“It’s the perfect out-of-the-way little park…. set back so not a lot of kids… it has a volleyball net in the sand, the little ones can play in the sand like the beach…a venue for parties with fireplace..”
6. Cedar Falls Park
Cedar Falls Park gets its name from the gorgeous vista created by Reedy River. 200 feet of cascading falls over aesthetically pleasing rocks and boulders. Enjoy the scenery on this park’s walking trail as well as a playground, some historic fact signs, and your favorite sand volleyball court.
“My husband and I decided to do a quick trip to Cedar Falls Park since the morning was too cold to go where we had previously planned. Are we glad we did! The river flowing over the rocks is just magnificent, and the water flowing through the dam ducts is a unique sight! We walked a portion of the trail, then doubled back to photograph what we had earmarked. There weren’t that many people, which made for getting some good shots of the falls. Will be going back soon!”
7. Northside Park
With a whole waterpark, it may surprise you that Northside Park comes with a sand volleyball court. This park is a great place for families who want to play a sport like volleyball, basketball, pickleball, football, etc. They also have a playground for kids and walking trails.
