What do the locals have to say?
When looking up most of the comments about the town on discussion websites, crime is a concern brought up often. But one local expressed that like with any place, there are nice areas and rundown areas. The nicer areas are said to be past Berea high school and closer to Traveler’s Rest.
I’ve had few experiences in this part of Greenville myself, but from the times that I have, I didn’t have any problems. Not being too far from downtown and the greater Greenville area, you’ll find plenty of things to do.
