I’ve had many fond memories of going downtown. From watching fireworks on the 4th of July to enjoying music during Fall For Greenville, you can have a lot of fun here.

With restaurants, an arena, a beautiful park, and much more, there are almost endless possibilities to have a good time.

In the list we’ve created, these are all activities you can enjoy that are all located downtown. Most of the options are very budget-friendly. You’ll quickly see why Greenville was named the fifth-best small city in the nation.

Downtown

1. Downtown Trolley

The trolleys offer free rides to the public Thursday through Sunday. Depending on the day and time, you can go ride through multiple routes, including the North Main Route and South Main Route.

Passengers can only get on and off the trolley at designated stops. You can only stay as long as one continuous loop.

Learn more about the trolley and give it a try sometime. It can be a great way for new visitors to get a tour of what downtown has to offer.
